The Round Square Festival – You Need to Know and Go!

In year’s past my focus on songwriter’s has really been focused here in the city (Cambridge). It hasn’t been until recently that I have really found solace in songwriting from my friends south of Massachusetts. The line up of this year’s Round Square Festival doesn’t just host some of those songwriters with strong Rhode Island ties, it has some of the very best songwriters in the northeast, PERIOD, playing at it. You all know how I feel about Ian Fitzgerald and Dan Blakeslee. Good friends of the blog, myself, and two of my all time favorite folks who write songs. Couple that with some of my recent favorites like Steve Allain and Haunt the House…and Allysen Callery….and Tracie Potochnik. I mean come on, this is a stacked bill of absolutely wonderful crafters of incredible tunes. More information below, but be sure to catch this. It is going to be incredible.
