Will Kimbrough was a name I became familiar with years ago. I had been listening to a lot of Todd Snider and it just so happened that Will occasionally played with Todd and they were song-swapping pals. “Diamond in a Garbage” can is still to this day one of my favorite tunes. Everything about that song is just right. The guitar playing, the back story, the phrase “a diamond in a garbage”, its just awesome. I often find myself not listening to Will’s stuff for a number of weeks or months, and then popping one of his live sets on and being immediately inspired and questioning my life choices in letting time pass without constantly listening to his tunes.

Top that all off with the fact that Kimbrough is a phenomenal musician and you got one hell of a guy and songwriter.

Also playing this evening are Brigitte Demeyer and local support from Dave Houghton. It is sure to be a great evening with wonderful songs…so you should know!
