Our family at Dirt Floor recording studios only works with musicians that have the potential to be great. Alex Navarro has been cutting his teeth busking the streets of Boston. In doing so he has learned what it takes to grab a crowd’s attention and keep it…working himself towards that “great” factor. Teaming up with the DR family only added to that and his debut record has the grit and goodness of a recording from the wonderful studio mixed with the pop sentimentality that his vocal and style lends itself to.

The record itself is full of the instrumentation that you would expect from a Dirt Floor record. It is warm, with that tube driven delicious flavor my ears eat up. Keys are heavy in the arrangements, but at the core is a really great debut effort from a promising young songwriter. Be sure to give a listen and check out Alex as he begins to pop up around town.
