What originated as “Pickin’ in the Kitchen” has more recently graduated to “Pickin’ at Red’s House”…as I have footage of friends not just playing in my kitchen but also in my home office and who knows, we may even hit the back porch come the nicer weather.

Anyway, my good friend Ian Fitzgerald was over recently to play some songs together and there were mics already hung and the camera was just sitting there, so we decided to let things roll on his tune (an old favorite from his last record, No Time to be Tender) “Melinda Down The Line”. His new arrangement of it is absolutely fantastic, with a delicate finger picture and some changed up annunciation on the phrasing. Really great stuff as always from Mr. Fitzgerald. Check it out…
