As if Aaron Lee Tasjan didn’t have a badass enough 2015, he kicks off 2016 with this. The video for his single “Don’t Walk Away”.

The cinematography for the music video is wonderful. It is beautiful in a throw-back kind of a fashion. Orange and red hues fade into a black and white montage in a bar with bikers about to bash each others’ faces in…and they do. Oh yes they do. Then back into the rollicking section of the tune, where a fad out gives us that signature 70s look and vibe and a To Be Continued message. The video tells a story all its own, as ALT is so well known for doing.

There is something so beautifully refreshing about everything that Tasjan does. His deadpan delivery and dry wit is brilliant. This is just another check box on the long list of reasons why the songwriter has dug himself a path into our hearts, clamped onto our arteries, and will forever be implanted there.
