A few weeks back FreshGrass Festival, perhaps one of the most uniquely located festivals in New England, announced its initial line up of artists. The first roll out was enough to excite any music lover with the likes of Ricky Skaggs and Rosanne Cash alongside some our personal favorite pals like Aoife O’ Donovan and Mr. Sun.

Well, the fine folks at FreshGrass have just gone and outdone themselves with another roll out of artists.

The latest announcement will put UK experimental folk group Lau, mandolin virtuoso Sierra Hull, Texas soul-singer Ruthie Foster, alt-folk band Parsonsfield, and Mexican bluegrasser Rana Santacruz on stage at Mass MoCa in September and if I know the people over there this is just the beginning of special announcements to come in the upcoming months.
