Hoot & Holler are old friends of us here at Red Line Roots. The duo of Amy Alvey and Mark Kilianski have been hard at work on the road, relentlessly adventuring along their musical pathway and bringing their own brew of classic bluegrass and folk tunes to small listening rooms, pubs and bars and everything in between.

The latest tune from duo (which will be on their upcoming release that is anticipated in the next couple weeks) is called ‘South Side’ and comes to us in the way of a video from our other pal Sean Trischka.

The road has been mighty good to these two and the slow bluesy inflected guitar line underpins the harmonies that the two put forth simply and wonderfully. Their voices have seemingly almost become one with this tune.
