John Moreland has cemented himself in the ranks of Folk and Americana as the “songwriter’s songwriter”. The type of artist who injects so much of himself into his songs that you can’t help but truly feel his emotions when you listen to him sing. I’ve listened to John’s records countless numbers of times and seen him a handful of times and whether its in front of a large crowd or alone in my home studio, the man never ceases to bring me to tears with his words and music.
