But, in case you need a push, here’s just a few reasons why you should be getting down:

 

1. Music in a Barn. That may sound overly, almost comically, idyllic, but its real. All the photos you can see online of the performance space are like…some kind of optimal dream of the exact place where I would want to see artist like Dave & Gill, Shakey Graves, The Cactus Blossoms and our best bud Zach Schmidt perform. Its like a down-home family reunion with the best music and the best family.
2. That brings us to point two: family. I mean, all your friends (even the ones you haven’t met yet) are gonna be there. People from Nashville to Providence and the far          stretches of the country will be there and you will certainly make a few new pals and likely run into a whole slew of old ones.
3. Yoga, dancing and more. Wildwood takes a page from a few other fests we have fallen in love with over the past couple years and while music is the centerpiece, there is so much other wonderful stuff going down throughout the weekend and mornings to keep you early risers busy and happy. Wiffle ball, Sunday evening movie wind down, and an artisan market where you can pick up crazy excellent wares from some of the most talented people crafting beautiful things.
4. Food…and beer. Veggies straight from the earth of the farm. A family style supper. Terrapin Brewery beer. Craft sodas…craft boozy drinks with Topo Chico and more. Its like your belly is just saying “gooooo toooooo Wild Wooooooood!”
