A few weeks back the duo of Hawthorn (Heather Scott, Taylor Holland) and Eleanor Elektra made their way up our skating rink of a drive way in their Prius. It wasn’t the easiest of treks but they persevered and warmed themselves by the wood stove, had a bit of tea and then of course, we filmed a bunch of songs.

The first of which was a collaboration between the two artists on an acapella version of Stan Rogers’ “Northwest Passage”. As they harmonized between the bending branches of the pines and swaying maples, the birds chimed in every so often to sing along.
