Festival at the Farm (Canton, MA) Line-up Announcement

A festival that seemed to appear out of thin year and absolutely slayed just three years back has announced its 2018 line up…and Canton’s Festival at the Farm continues to impress. With a keen sense of mixing some of the areas finest up and coming artists and bands with national touring headliners, there is a sense of community, family and keeping a focus on highlighting ‘local” be it the band you just saw at Atwood’s or the delicious food truck lunch you are digging into.

Amos Lee and Dawes top the line-up for the weekend-long event along with (one of our absolute favorites) Mandolin Orange, Amy Helm, The Wild Reeds, The Suitcase Junket, Caitlyn Smith, Update Rubdown, Will Dailey, Jesse Dee, The Silks, and Ali McGuirk.  Additional acts will be announced in May.

You have two days to ready yourself to pick up those early bird tickets and begin to think about all the great music you can take in during the early Fall on September 15th and 16th and while are big fans of sweating alongside our friends in the photo pit and dancing on the lawn in the sweltering July/August heat, its those September festivals that wind down the season that we have come to really love the past few years.

Read up on Ken’s interview from last year with curator, James MacDonald and check out some shots he took from last year’s weekend of musical celebration.
