What about it: “I give my parents credit for my love of Pabst Blue Ribbon. They didn’t give me my first beer or throw parties at our house when I was a kid. They just quit their jobs when I was six to be around more. My mom became a stay at home mom and my dad started his own home improvement company. They made significantly less money, so we grew up cheaper, but sometimes cheaper is better. When I started drinking, I found this to be true for alcohol too. I know that other beers and whiskeys taste better than PBR and Kentucky Gentleman, but I’ve found that I have more fun per person the cheaper the beer and whiskey. And that’s what life is all about, having fun with the people you love.
