Duos always hit me right straight in the heart. The sounds that can be built up with just two voices and two instruments, but also the intimacy that can be found with just two folks on stage sharing their stories and baring their souls.

The Maes will land in the States tomorrow evening to do just that on Club Passim’s stage. 

When asked about why they are excited to play Passim coming all the way from Australia, Maggie Rigby told us, “Club Passim is one of those venues you hear about growing up in the folk scene in Australia. A place where it seems like every musician you have ever loved and listened to has played at some point. It’s so exciting for us to feel a part of that legacy. To be where folk music from around the world happens and changes and grows.”
