What About It: “Inspired by my daughter, “Say Your Mind” is a song about holding near those who you can’t always be with. I feel like this is something we all can relate to in some way or another. This song absolutely changed shape as I was writing it. I knew I was writing with my daughter in mind, (being a fairly new dad) but somewhere along the way it took a sort of beyond the grave perspective – Almost like I was giving her life advice as though I would not be around to see it out. A theme throughout is knowing you are never truly alone, even when it may feel that way.” – Adam Kinghorn
