Passim Announces a MONSTER Free Outdoor Concert Line up

When I was still working in an office just outside of Central Square in Cambridge there were few things that made me excited for the work week. One of them was delicious vegetarian sandwiches at the new Clover storefront that just went in a few months before I left and the other was Passim‘s Kendall Square concert series at lunchtime. Grab a bite, head over and 8 out of 10 times it was a friend playing the 1 hour mid day slot out in the plaza just past the train exit. It was a treat.

Well Passim is at it again and has unleashed a beast of a line up this year. For starters, friends Ethan Setiawan, Hayley Sabella, Izzy Heltai, Billy Wilder and Kat & Brad stand out immediately, but Passim does not wrong in booking and any of these fantastic events give you a reason to get outside during the week, enjoy the warmer weather as it sets in and maybe bring a few bucks to buy a CD from an artist (new to you or an old favorite) and support local artists and the organizations that highlight them.

From Passim: Club Passim announced more than three dozen free outdoor shows this summer in Cambridge, that are part of annual summer series in Kendall Square, Danehy Park, Harvard Square, and the plaza at the Harvard Science Center. Featuring acts from Rakish, Izzy Heltai to Kat & Brad and Liv Greene, the concerts begin May 10 and run through September 27. Passim also announced that they will host the Folk and Roots Stage at River Festival on June 1^st.
