It’s like a tale of two duos (though we know our old friends in Hawthorn have been expanding their sound and line up as of late). One a self proclaimed ‘West Philly mandolin-bass gutterfolk duo’ and the other an experience in ethereal, floating magic of a listening experience. The two will collide in what will prove to be a beautiful show at one of our favorite spots, Atwood’s Tavern in Cambridge, MA.

Driftwood Soldier is touring in support of their their second full length album, Stay Ahead of the Wolf, on its very first trip to Boston and well, when it comes to Hawthorn you already probably know how we feel about their music.
