Track of the Week: James Maple “Lantern Hill Landslide” Featured Track by Brian Carroll - May 28, 2015January 21, 20160 A great songwriter and performer leaves you with a little bit of themselves. They are able to transmit that emotion from inside their heart through their song and it yours. My good pal and a songwriter I have a great deal of respect for, Mr. James Maple, does that…and man, he does it well. Maple’s voice portrays heartache in such a way that is sincere and authentic and gut wrenching at times. I feel what he feels when I hear his songs. James is in the midst of recording songs for a new record. A new record loaded with all that emotion and heart I have grown to know him for. I can’t wait to see what comes from those sessions and hope I can impose on them at some point to witness something special unfold. For now, give him a listen on this track “Lantern Hill Landslide” while I am off in the highlands of Scotland and eagerly anticipate what is next for this guy with me.
