Over this past weekend I had the pleasure of filming some things with Jordan Tice of Hawktail and catching him play a duo house concert with dobro player Mike Witcher. We talked a little about the band formerly known as Haas, Kowert Tice (now Hawktail) and the new record…and also this video.

A gorgeous original instrumental by the band shot inside of Downtown Presbyterian Church in Nashville. The full band is nothing short of fine tuned authority on each of their individual instruments, but in this particular case Brittany Haas proves again that she is a damn national treasure. A new record is on the horizon for the band, so keep a keen eye out on their website and be sure to catch them on tour. They are in the Northeast in mid April at venues in Northampton, Cambridge and Rhode Island.
