The summer (I hope) is finally hanging over us. The sun beckons to me from my office window to get outside and breath the air. Purple flowers have bloomed all over the yard. The fruit blossoms have come and gone and every body of water I pass seems to call to me to jump on in. Its a beautiful time and some pretty great folk summer jams are needed to go along with it. Enter Kris Gruen‘s (with special guest Peter Morén) “Everyday and Night Now”.

About the tune Gruen says, “We wrote together in an old movie theater turned into an on-again, off-again performance venue. Paint was peeling off the walls and there was an old piano in the corner. We talked about how that lust for life will always call you. He was incredibly generous.”
