Yesterday Arc Iris premiered a brand new video for their song $GNMS and like everything that Jocie Adams touches, it is pure gold. Viewing like a movie it takes us back to the times we would sit inches from our TV sets to see the newest music video. Back when music videos were exciting and we couldn’t get enough. Cinematic, gorgeous costuming and truly spins a tale on the screen in front of you. Beautiful and mesmerizing.

The band says of the new video, “Icon of Ego’s first single, $GNMS, is a complete reworking of Money Gnomes, off of Arc Iris’ eponymous LP. The new approach to this song represents a change in our current life and politics – the mood shines a new light on an old concept. Each piece on this album is in some way a reflection of the collective and individual ego that both feeds off of and creates our icons.”

Tomorrow (11/17) they celebrate the release of that record at Lizard Lounge in Cambridge.
