Country juggernauts Sturgill Simpson and Tyler Childers are at the pinnacle of the genre landscape and the two are teaming up for a just announced North American tour titled “A Good Look’n Tour”.

Kicking off in February 2020, the two will be rolling through Boston, MA at the freakin’ Gaaaahden on May 15th…I mean, I have said in the past I don’t want to go to shows (aside from festivals) that are much bigger than a place like The Sinclair, but for this one I think an exception is certainly in order. Plus it makes me smile that these two could be on a level that they get to play such a place.

Sturgill Simpson recently released his Sound & Fury LP, the companion record to his recent anime film, named the same and made in collaboration with manga artist Takashi Okazaki.

 

 Tyler Childers’ latest studio album Country Squire dropped over the summer and in my humble opinion, it’s one of the greatest records released this year.
