The best way to take in a musician in their element is live…or, the next best thing (and a little more convenient) is a video of them performing live with their band in studio for their upcoming record.

Our ole pal Izzy Heltai has been busting his ass and traveling around the region and country for the past few years. Slinging songs and picking guitars. Be it solo or with a more rocking line up, as in this video, Heltai has something about it that just snags your attention. The vulnerability in his voices, the words and phrasings of the hooks in his songs or his infectious smile, the dude is just an excellent musician and performer.
